Using Film to Teach Language
11:00 am-12:00 pm Add
B4 Dwinelle Hall
This lecture discusses how film is being used to teach foreign languages at Berkeley. Using short clips from films in several different languages, we examine the way in which language and filmic devices combine to create meaning, and how students might interact with film to create their own meanings.
