254 Barrows Hall

The question of how the Egyptian pyramids were built is something that still engages scholars. However, another way to look at this is to ask how the pyramids built Egypt. Discover what the different types of evidence uncovered at the Lost City of the Pyramids archaeological site in Giza, Egypt, can tell us about what life was like for the pyramid workforce during the 4th dynasty, 4,500 years ago. After the talk, you can make your own cartouche with your name in hieroglyphs! Get your Science@Cal passport stamped here. This event is hosted by Berkeley's Department of Near Eastern Studies.
