The rapid pace of South Asian urbanization has created a critical need to improve the current inadequate water supply and sanitation services and plan for future demand. Urban WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene), the CSAS urban water initiative, showcases UC Berkeley's cutting-edge research on water availability and quality, sanitation, hygiene, and cost-effective water provision and management methods.
