Museums
Don’t miss this opportunity to visit our campus museums, some of which are not normally open to the public. On Cal Day they open their doors, with no admission charge.
The Campanile (Sather Tower)
9 am-3 pm
Free for Cal Day! Take the elevator to the top for a breathtaking panoramic view of the campus and the Bay Area. Note: There are 38 stairs from the elevator landing to the Campanile observation deck; the deck is not wheelchair accessible.
Cal Student Store/Cal Apparel
This is your headquarters for Cal apparel, souvenirs, snacks, books, gifts, and more. Visit the store in the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Union.
Transportation

Take a 30-minute round-trip cable car tour for an overview of the campus. From 8 am-4 pm you can get on or off at any stop (see the campus map for the route and stops).
Campus buses run from 8 am-6:30 pm to transport guests around the perimeter of campus (see perimeter routes on the campus map).
From 8:30 am-6 pm the Hill Shuttle takes you to the Lawrence Hall of Science, the UC Botanical Garden, the Samuel L.
